What if I don't need to apologize for my existence?

Shot on a mixture of medium-format film and various digital sensors, this project from late 2019 encapsulates a moment of tremendous change.

After I sustained a concussion earlier that year, I was hurting. I reached out for help, and found a surprising amount of support from my friends. I was finally able to question the role I was supposed to play, and found that I was deeply uncomfortable with my role, my body, and the burden of expectations from others and myself.
